We know everyone loves the start of fall with decorations and cooler weather but it’s also the time to celebrate our wonderful bats! International Bat Week is October 24 -31 this year! To celebrate, the Ga Bat Working Group is hosting a Beers and Bats event at The Southern Brewing Company in Athens, Ga! The taproom opens at 5 pm and we’ll be celebrating our bats until it closes at 9pm! We will have a live Ga native bat, a bat house and bat garden example on display (recently installed at SBC)! We will be bringing all the bat swag as well (t-shirts, hats, stickers) for sale! Bring cash so you can get yourself some of the awesome bat swag. Come and join us to celebrate bats and enjoy some beer!
